Visa Latin America and the Caribbean, is seeking a driven and detail oriented Sr. Manager for Urban Mobility Initiatives. This is a strategic role, that will help define the company’s’ strategy and execution for the segment in the region. The ideal candidate needs to have previous experience in payment products, or urban mobility and smart cities projects in Latin America and must be able to provide work on product features, standards, use cases, technology platforms that can protect Visa’s leadership in the segment and expand participation across markets in an interoperability model.
Support and provide day-to-day product guidance to markets, products and sales teams.
Actively collaborate with other functions such as Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business Development in the development of Visa’s positioning in the segment, go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns.
Work with Visa’s Innovation Centers, Fintech Community, Technology Partners and providers in the development of user experiences that create differentiation for Visa.
Work with internal and external stakeholders across the region to collect feedback, identifying opportunities to enhance Visa’s approach to Urban Mobility
Monitor and evaluate key performance metrics to measure Visa’s participation in the category.
Understand product P&L, economic models for small ticket transactions.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in the transport, technology or payments industry, particularly in a planning and project implementation.
• Broad knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies.
• Ability to assess situations and solve problems through sound reasoning and structured thinking.
• Good understanding of the commercial drivers for both Visa and our clients.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills for working cross-functionally and cross-divisionally.
• Ability to structure and support complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
• Proactive and effective communicator. Experienced at presenting information to all levels, proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across geographic and functional lines, as well as with client and government audiences.
• English, and Spanish or Portuguese is required
