Hillel International’s Campus Climate Initiative (CCI) works collaboratively with higher education administrators to ensure a positive campus climate where Jewish students feel comfortable expressing their identity and values free of antisemitism, harassment, or marginalization. Hillel CCI’s primary method of delivery is our 10-month Campus Cohort Program, which has engaged nearly 80 colleges and universities representing the diversity of the higher education institutions in the U.S. Each campus completes the program with an Action Plan composed of tailored recommendations and best practices that facilitate improvements in the climate for Jewish students on their campus.
The CCI Program Associate supports the research for, and planning and implementation of, a variety of CCI programs and operations. Working closely with CCI’s learning and operations teams, the Program Associate will play an important role in ensuring that the goals, objectives and outcomes of CCI’s growing portfolio of programs are met. The Program Associate will also conduct research, write memos and assist in the preparation of presentations to support the CCI team’s work, and will directly support the work of Hillel’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel who oversees the CCI program and provides legal perspectives to university officials and Hillel professionals on campus antisemitism issues.
The position is completely remote and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Hillel believes in supporting individual's growth and potential at all stages and is committed to creating equitable and representative work environments. Research shows that women and individuals who hold underrepresented identities tend to only apply to jobs that they believe they meet all of the qualifications for. Job descriptions are aspirational, and no one meets every bullet listed. Hillel strongly encourages applications from individuals with varied identities and backgrounds, including people of color, women, people with disabilities, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ people, and people who come from low-income or working-class backgrounds.

In 1923, Rabbi Benjamin Frankel started Hillel with humble means, a noble mission and a breathtaking vision: to convey Jewish civilization to a new generation. Today, Hillel International continues to enrich the lives of Jewish students and is the largest Jewish campus organization in the world at nearly 1,000 colleges and universities across North America and around the world. As Hillel evolves as an organization, the mission remains steadfast: to create lasting connections with every Jewish student that foster an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel and train them to become the next Jewish leaders.
Hillel is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an accepting and inclusive environment for all.
