The professional services role within Arista takes client engagements from initial design through implementation and migration and continues to provide operational support. This ensures a seamless transition for customers from initial exposure to full operational capability
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of Arista's networking solutions, including switches, routers, and software-defined networking (SDN) components.
- Work with clients to understand their network architecture and customize solutions to meet specific requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration of Arista solutions with existing customer infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner, working closely with Arista's support and engineering teams as needed.
- Perform network audits and health checks, providing recommendations for optimization and performance improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and Arista product developments.
- Develop deep expertise in Arista's product portfolio and related technologies, such as cloud networking, network automation, and Data Center and Service Provider solutions.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, technical documentation, and tools to enhance the delivery of professional services.
- Act as a customer advocate within Arista, providing feedback to product management and engineering teams on customer needs and product enhancements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in post-project reviews to gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, security protocols, and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and project deliverables for future reference.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables and align with PM to ensure successful completion of professional services engagements.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer with customer teams.
- Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise during customer engagements and proof-of-concept (POC) trials.
Technical Capabilities
- Expertise in designing and deploying industry-leading networking solutions, particularly in Spine-Leaf architecture (L2LS/L3LS).
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with networking protocols and concepts, including MLAG, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, L2 technologies, and multicast.
- Comprehensive understanding of DC, SP, or Enterprise-level network architecture, including OSPF, BGP, L2 technologies, multicast, MPLS, and SP core networks.
- Proficiency in L2 technologies such as STP, PVST, MSTP, RSTP, and EtherChannel, with the ability to configure and troubleshoot these protocols.
- Experience in provisioning new services on the network, performing upgrades (e.g., OS patches, vulnerability management), and maintaining network performance.
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Python/Bash scripting, and VMware, with the ability to automate network tasks and manage virtual environments.
- Industry experience focused on IP networks. Engineer (5-12 Years)
- Engineering Degree (B.Tech, BE), Telecom/Electronics (or similar)
- Arista EOS and Cloud Vision experience will be an added advantage.
- CCIE and/or JNCIE certifications/ equivalents
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
