We are hiring a Production Team Leader for the Weekend 2 Shift (Saturday - Monday) 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM

YOUR OBJECTIVE
You will motivate your team to continuously produce high-quality products, in a fast, active environment. You will be responsible for leading the team and for multiple DTG printers. You will be accountable for team scheduling, assigning work, product quality and production schedules. You will troubleshoot, repair, and resolve issues on state-of-the-art direct-to-garment (DTG) digital printers.
YOUR JOB
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Director of Production to identify priority tasks
- Provide clear direction to your team throughout shift
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues
- Ensure print quality is continuously maintained according to standards
- Maintain a neat, organized, clean, and safe work environment
- Be accountable for the smooth operation of the shift
- Clearly and effectively communicate issues immediately to Management
- Ensure end-of-shift housekeeping responsibilities are completed
- Report all equipment issues to the Director of Production
- Ensure orders are completed and shipped according to the production schedule
- Schedule staff according to production needs, including overtime if necessary
- Lead the team to meet and exceed quality standards
- Document and report all injuries (work-related and other) within 24 hours
- Painlessly and effortlessly stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, push and pull continuously
- Regularly lift heavy objects up to 30-50 pounds frequently and use a stair ladder for retrieving overstock items
Requirements
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in a distribution center or production environment - at least one year
- Accurate counting skills
- Effectively use MS Office suite, especially Excel
- Working knowledge of SAP (nice to have)
- Skilled at building team culture and camaraderie
