Manufacturing is at the heart of our operation, it's where we fulfil the customer promise and produce the UK’s leading roofing tile products! It’s within this successful team at Marley, that we’re recruiting for a Production Team Leader.
What you’ll be doing
You will take a lead role and ensuring safety is the top priority, promoting adherence to safety protocols, timely reporting of hazards, and minimising environmental impact through effective communication and site rule implementation. You will also ensure production quality meets customer specifications while demonstrating strong leadership, fostering teamwork, and handling team performance issues. Effective communication will be key, driving the right behaviors and ensuring accurate data management and reporting. In addition, you will support continuous improvement through Lean methodologies, focusing on waste reduction, machine optimisation, and customer experience, while using 5S principles to maintain a well-organised and efficient workplace.
Working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Your shift patterns will be 6am-3pm
