Production Team Lead / 2nd Shift (Site 1: EBS)

The working Team Lead will be responsible for their regular duties, in addition to being responsible for ensuring that the lines within their area of responsibility run at rate with acceptable levels of external and internal quality with the most efficient use of headcount.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:


Perform key role responsibilities, as well as:

  • Assign people and organize the work force to ensure production schedules are met with the most efficient utilization of manpower.
  • Prepare and document records for efficiency, scrap, quality and safety.
  • Review material pull system compliance to assure supplies of material.
  • Anticipate production and line changeover requirements and plan accordingly.
  • Directly responsible for training of Assemblers on all operations in assigned area to ensure optimum production efficiency.
  • Responsible for working with Maintenance Technicians and Manufacturing Engineers to maintain assembly lines.
  • Directly responsible to maintain a safe work environment by proactively identifying and resolving any safety issues within area(s) of responsibility.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong Coaching and Training skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt quickly to changing environment
  • Relevant computer skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 50 on an occasional basis
