Join Avery Dennison's Painesville Films Facility as a Team Manager (Production Supervisor) on our 2nd shift Finishing Operations team! Lead, motivate, and coach a team of skilled individuals while driving safety, quality, and productivity. Collaborate with plant leadership to achieve key business objectives and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Regular work hours: 3:20 pm - 11:30 pm.

Optimize operations: Effectively manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to enhance efficiency and productivity. Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce waste.

Uphold ethical standards: Model ethical behavior in all interactions. Champion the company's Code of Business Ethics and foster a culture of integrity, fairness, and respect.

Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering or business is preferred. We also welcome those with proven technical/mechanical skills and a dedication to continuous learning.

Experience: 4+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment or similarly complex organization, and a track record of success in coaching, guiding, and developing high-performing teams.

Leadership Skills: This role requires a strong leader with a visible presence on the production floor, who can anticipate challenges, exercise sound judgment, and take decisive action. This individual will inspire and motivate others, fostering a positive and collective work environment.

Operational Excellence: Strong skills in designing and implementing strategies to improve safety, reduce costs, enhance quality, optimize training, and streamline inventory and services. Comfortability with analyzing data, identifying trends, and using that information to drive operational improvements. Familiarity with ELS Operating Principles is a strong plus.

Adaptability and Communication: Flexibility and a willingness to adjust work schedules as needed are key to supporting training, development, and operational needs. Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills are essential, along with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
