Production Supervisor
Shift: T1 Monday to Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Summary:
Responsible for the supervision and development of production assemblers. Oversees and directs the organization, proficiency, and efficiency of their respective team. Must have a complete working knowledge of the operation of all machines, tooling, procedures, and processes related to the department. Understands and always applies company policies with regards to customer service and associates. Develops and maintains a teamwork environment and empowerment among assemblers.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Responsible for On-Time Delivery, product defects, and manufacturing costs for each assigned work center.
- Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems.
- Assists in establishing associate goals and completing associate evaluations. This includes regular feedback to associates on their performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate training activities with Training Coordinator for all new associates in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for payroll and overseeing overtime, vacation, and personal time off.
- Responsible for initiating proactive and corrective actions, continuous improvement on all department metrics. Internal Score card for OTD, scrap and Productivity making corrective and preventive actions when deviating from corporate goals.
- Responsible for the overall appearance of the shop floor, should be kept in a safe and organized way.
- Responsible of the End of Month meeting to show and explain the work center results with the associates and let them know the corporate goals.
- Could potentially involve handling hazardous materials.

Required experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions.
- Experience in electronical manufacturing industry (preferred).
- Experience in project management related to manufacturing process and continues improvement (preferred).
Education:
- University bachelor’s degree in Engineering area (mandatory) or BA or related field.
- English advanced.
- Knowledge of Excel and Power Bi.
