Extreme Reach, a leading advertising technology company, is seeking a Production Specialist with video editing experience to join our creative team based in Toronto. The ideal candidate should be passionate about video editing and post production. This position performs various video editing and production service-related tasks that include: ingesting, reviewing, archiving, editing, transcoding, and delivering video and audio content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Perform basic video editing tasks, including cutting, trimming, and assembling video footage to create compelling and engaging videos.
- Post-Production: Assist in the post-production process, including color correction, audio syncing, and adding and adjusting graphics and animations.
- Content Organization: Maintain a well-organized local and networked video library and ensure all project files are neatly categorized for easy retrieval by others as necessary. Execution of automation templates for processing assets.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure videos meet the company's standards and client specifications.
Application Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects & Photoshop
- Basic knowledge of Avid Media Composer & DaVinci Resolve.
- Understanding of Loudness and Closed Captioning recommended
- Working knowledge of Google Sheets
- Understanding of Dataclay Templater or Comps from Sheets a bonus, but not required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Basic understanding of video codecs, formats, and export settings.
- Previous video editing experience, either through internships, coursework, or personal projects, is a plus.
