We're currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join us at our site in Ranskill. Internally this role is called Operations Team Member.


So, what's the role about?
You'll work within our busy bricks and masonry manufacturing site operating press machinery, hand-powered tools, shot blast machinery, and mobile plant such as Forklift trucks to move stock around the site. You’ll learn all about manufacturing techniques, processes, safety, quality waste, and OEE.


Working as part of a skilled team to manufacture high-quality concrete products using the best technology and techniques, you’ll put health and safety at the heart of everything you do!


Don’t worry if you’ve not worked in our industry before; we can teach you everything there is to know about Manufacturing. All we ask is that you have a positive ‘can do’ outlook, be a good communicator, and have the willingness to learn!

What are the skills required?

  • Experience working in a Production/Manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
  • Good group working spirit
  • Basic computer user experience will be required
  • Current accredited FLT licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Good level of English, oral and written
  • A forward-thinking individual continually looking at improving processes and wastes
  • Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is advantageous
