We support our customers in production planning in the body shop. We are looking to strengthen our team with the following tasks:
- Evaluation of data quality as an input variable for forming simulation
- Evaluation of product data with regard to manufacturability (drawability, surface quality, dimensional accuracy, robustness of the process) using today's tools in method planning
- Development of product changes from a production engineering perspective to ensure manufacturability (DFM)
- Process development (method plan) for the production of complex sheet metal parts including constructive evaluation of the feasibility of the developed process plan (definition of the process steps in the subsequent operations including evaluation of constructive boundary conditions)
- Optimization of material utilization
- Estimation of the investment for the production of tools including cost assessment of tool changes
- Conducting technical discussions with suppliers as well as tool tracking with regard to (compliance with time specifications, evaluation of technical execution and acceptance of tools at the customer)
- At least 3 years of technical training or a degree in mechanical engineering
- Optional: professional experience in method planning for car body sheet metal parts
- Optional: design experience in the design of sheet metal forming tools
- Optional: knowledge of sheet metal forming from an OEM's perspective (process planning, development of forming simulation to evaluate drawability, springback, external quality, material utilization)
- Optional: Experience in tool production, quality development, commissioning in the press shop and handover to the customer
- Independent working style, ability to work in a team and reliability
- Fluent German AND English knowledge, Hungarian is advantage
