As Production Technician you oversee the Company’s supplier production activities in India and to ensure the quality, function and delivery of AT-PAC products, on time, in full accordance with purchase orders and conforming to product specifications.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee production processes, systems, core competencies and culture required to achieve position objectives.
- Work with suppliers on proper tool development, efficient factory layout, raw materials control, welding, in-process quality control inspection (IPQC) and pre-shipment inspection (PSI)
- Implementation of Production Control Plans, Gantt Chart at each factory and the ongoing supervision of production control processes. This includes ensuring required levels of raw materials control, equipment, efficiency, quality and safety are in place.
- Coordination of:
- New supplier development (NSD) in India, including initial audit and assessment through to mass production.
- New product development (NPD) - drives product development of new scaffold products through sample production, first article inspection (FAI), first article approval (FAA) stages to mass
- Product conformity audits and industry certifications.
- Coordinating with supplier finding out of Design errors & process feasibility checking.
- Closing NCR raised by QC. Keep track record & Meeting OTD (on time delivery) as per purchase order.
- Annual supplier audits to track progress and improvements, ensuring that suppliers continually improve their internal processes, procedures, equipment, team, and work environment.
- Provide training and general support to suppliers and the production team.
- Monitor and report on AT-PAC India business unit expenditure and time keeping, in line Production Controlling guidelines and as directed.

Development of strategic initiatives like Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), HSE and Quality
- Implements operational policies, procedures, systems, standards and processes required to comply with legal or corporate requirements, including maintaining safe systems of work
- Assist with ESG implementation and compliance, including supporting Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and Company Carbon Footprint (CCF) data collection.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, majoring in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with familiarity in manufacturing and welding procedures. Experience in scaffolding, structural steel fabrication, or the metal manufacturing industry is a plus.
- A minimum of 7-8 years of production management experience in scaffolding, formwork, automotive, or a comparable industry.
- Industry certifications demonstrating proficiency in production and technical skills, including weld inspection.
- Sound working knowledge of and ability to read computer-aided design drawings.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex product and technical requirements effectively.
