The WebMD Video Team produces award-winning medical and lifestyle content. We deliver leading health and wellness video to consumers, physicians, and healthcare professionals around the world. Our balanced mix of innovative video offerings blend news, features, and original series. The Production Assistant assists the timely, compelling, and accurate creation of video content across 100+ topic areas, including lifestyle/wellness as well as medical conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating and producing on-site video shoots and internal audio/visual events.
Help maintain, organize, and track the inventory of studio equipment, ensuring it remains in good working condition.
Support the studio, production and post-production teams by providing assistance and direction during production processes, including scheduling, setup, and delivery of video assets.
Coordinate and work with office facilities, freelance production companies, and external vendors to manage the studio and office schedule.
Communicate with internal departments in editorial, news, social media, to support collaboration.
Organize and media manage assets and metadata for videos and projects.
Responsible for upholding WebMD’s credibility in the delivery of trustworthy concepts and video products content that are in accordance with editorial and Best Practice policies
Required Skills:
Bachelor’ Degree or equivalent experience required
1 to 3 years of assisting the production of digital video
Thorough understanding of digital video products: camera, lighting, sound
Knowledge of event space audio/visual equipment
Familiarity with non-linear video editing
Experience in a live broadcast environment
Excellent organizational and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

This role will be based onsite at our Newark, NJ. office.
Salary $45,000-$55,000 annually
