Production Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with VFX Producers and production teams on the financial management of assigned productions, including financial review of bids and bid revisions, client facing financial reporting, and internal cost projections
• Assist VFX Producers and production leadership with running financial scenarios and other ad hoc analysis as needed
• Update/manage revenue expectations and payment schedules in internal trackers for assigned productions and coordinate invoicing and collections
• Manage cost reports, monitor and analyze project progression, changes of cost projection, and actuals across assigned projects, performing departmental variance analysis
• Proactively monitor resource and labor projections and keep track of tax credit/ rebates/ grant qualifications, across multiple countries/ regions
• Support freelance outsource tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Review payroll data for assigned productions for accuracy and facilitate necessary adjustments or reclassifications
• Work with the FP&A, Production and Accounting team to ensure accurate calculations for earned and deferred revenue under US GAAP
• Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting teams to generate bi-weekly & monthly cost reports, as well as other project specific ad hoc financial analysis

Minimum Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of accounting principles under US GAAP
• Ability to manage priorities, and work towards tight deadlines
• Strong verbal & written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred advanced Excel skills, Power Query experience is a plus
• Experience in the film industry/animation or VFX
• Ability to communicate in Korean as well as English 






Production Accountant는 프로덕션, 재무계획 및 분석(FP&A) 그리고 회계 부서와 긴밀히 협업하며 Global Head of Production Finance에게 보고하게 됩니다. 입사 후 할당된 프로젝트 전체의 비용을 예측하고 실제 비용을 모니터링 및 트래킹하는 업무를 맡게 되며, 정기적으로 비용 평가 보고서를 작성하고, 시각효과 제작을 직접적으로 지원하는 역할을 담당합니다.

담당업무

• VFX 프로듀서 및 프로덕션 팀과 협력하여 할당된 쇼의 재정을 관리하며, 입찰 및 입찰 수정에 대한 재정 검토 및 클라이언트에게 재정을 보고하고, 내부 비용을 예측합니다.
• VFX 프로듀서 및 프로덕션 리더십과 함께 시나리오계획을 하고, 그들이 필요로 하는 임시 데이터 분석을 실행합니다.
• 할당된 쇼에 대한 수익 기대치와 지불 일정을 내부 트래커에서 업데이트 및 관리하고, 인보이스 작성 및 수금을 조정합니다.
• 할당된 프로젝트 전체의 비용 보고서를 관리하고, 프로젝트 진행 상황을 모니터링 및 분석하며, 비용 예측의 변경이나 실제 비용을 살피며 부서 간의 추이 분석을 실행합니다.
• 적극적으로 리소스와 고용추정치를 모니터링하고, 여러 국가/지역에 대한 세금 공제/리베이트/보조금 자격 등을 파악하고 관리합니다.
• 프리랜서 외주 트래킹, 예측 및 추이분석을 진행합니다.
• 할당된 쇼에 대한 급여 데이터를 정확하게 검토하고, 적재적소에 필요한 조정을 해야 합니다.

최소 자격

• 최소 5년 이상의 유관 경력
• 미국 회계원칙에 대한 기본적인 이해
• 우선순위를 정하는 능력과 촉박한 마감일을 맞추는 능력
• 높은 수준의 구두 및 서면 커뮤니케이션 기술

선호하는 자격

• 학사 학위 우대
• 고급 Excel 기술 및 Power Query 경험 우대
• 영화 산업/애니메이션 또는 VFX 경력
• 한국어 및 영어 의사소통 능력 우대
