Position Summary:
The Product UX/ UI Designer will have a strong background in designing healthcare applications, with a deep understanding of the needs of both clinicians and patients. The role is responsible for creating user-friendly, engaging, and accessible interfaces that facilitate care coordination and patient engagement to manage complex chronic disease and change behavior.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience for our internal clinicians and our members
- Conduct user research and gather insights to understand the needs and behaviors of our front-line staff and patients with chronic diseases they serve
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes to illustrate design ideas
- Conduct usability testing to refine and improve the user experience
- Ensure designs are consistent with company branding and accessibility standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5 years of experience as a UX and UI Designer, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design
- Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, React is a plus
- Experience designing healthcare applications for clinicians and/or for patients with chronic diseases is preferred
- Experience with mobile and web-based application design is also preferred
