Product Test Technician

Job Requirements

  • Responsible for execution of test orders related to rubber to metal bonded and fluid products.
  • Responsible for testing including DV and PV level testing activity 
  • Testing products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance
  • Examining and investigating performance and design characteristics of products and materials
  • Creating technical reports on findings and testing data gathered
  • Communicate recommendations, observations, and advise relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain lab and testing equipment as directed
  • Implement changes in testing protocols as required
  • Consult with senior management about test results
  • Recommend technical and procedural additions to achieve “Best Practices”

 

 Basic Qualifications

  • High School and or  GED
  • 2+ years’ experience  in testing in a Lab/R&D environment
  • Proficiency in testing procedures and protocols.
  • Analytical thinking and abilities
  • Report writing and document analysis skills
  • Ability to work with data and numbers
  • Problem-solving skills and decisive knowledge of appropriate testing methods.
  • High mechanical aptitude and comfortable with industry-specific testing equipment and software
  • Knowledge of testing equipment maintenance and safety procedures
  • Ownership and action approach to all tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in destructive/non-destructive testing applied mechanics technology, or similar
  • Experience with servo-hydraulic equipment or testing
