MOO is hiring a

Product Technician

London, United Kingdom
Full-Time
MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.

Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO.

We’re making new and exciting things – and we could really do with your help.

MOO’s mission is to bring brands to life in a sustainable way. We design & curate remarkable products for our customers. On MOO’s website, customers can browse print and branded merchandise products, customise them and place an order online. MOO then does the magic of manufacturing and customising paper products and shipping a customer’s order -- or customising Branded Products we develop and manufacture with third party suppliers. We’re seeking a Product Technician to join our NPD Team to help and support the development & curation of our new products. We’re at an exciting time in MOO’s product lifecycle, where we’re reimagining our assortment of products and introducing new categories that will enable MOO to grow faster.

The Product Technician will report to our Head of NPD Supply Chain, and you’ll work in the new product team on our wide range of consumer products. The role is hybrid and based in our London office with a minimum of two days a week in the office and sometimes more days if required. Given the nature of new product development we like to collaborate as a team in person where we can review samples and discuss the details.

The Person We Want

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills - clearly articulating needs to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to collaborate and strong interpersonal skills, ability to work closely with cross functional teams and all parties both internal and external
  • Proven experience in a technical role in a fast paced environment - preferably within product development, manufacturing, or quality assurance
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to accurately interpret technical specifications and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, capable of effectively prioritising tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional activities
  • Adaptability and resilience in navigating cross functional organisational structures and addressing challenges and solutions quickly and efficiently
  • Experience in companies that develop products for mass market so there is an appreciation of the need for pace and due diligence
  • Ability to be empathetic and set expectations with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers

Responsibilities

  • Product Development: Assist the NPD team in the development of all new consumer products
  • Product Quality & Integrity: Organise and oversee product testing activities, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and performance expectations
  • Product Documentation: Manage and produce product specifications liaising with suppliers and internal team to ensure product information is documented and accurate
