The Company:
TiMax is a pioneer in the field of immersive sound and is on a mission to democratise access to spatial audio by offering the most comprehensive suite of solutions. TiMax is now part of the Focusrite Group which also includes Martin Audio and as such benefits from extended support.
Location:
TiMax will be transitioning to a new London HQ in early 2025, but interim and from time-to-time the role will also be based in High Wycombe working alongside colleagues from Focusrite Group brands.
Qualifications required:
Applicants from Acoustics, Audio, Audio Engineering, with a passion for immersive / spatial audio.
Candidates must be a team player, but able to work unsupervised after a period of training.
A university degree with average score of a 2:1 or above is preferred but not essential, experienced candidates without a degree will be seriously considered. You will be highly organised with a keen eye for details. A good knowledge of all MS Office products is essential.
You will use your own initiative to prioritise your workload and problem solve while flagging to senior members of the team when appropriate. This role is fast paced and will involve working on different tasks with varied deadlines so a calm, methodical approach and the ability to multi- task is key. Excellent communication skills, energy and enthusiasm are a must!
The Job:
The candidate will lead the technical support requirements for TiMax, but will enjoy the support network of colleagues in the wider Focusrite Group. They will receive training in core processes and methods and then be expected to manage TiMax technical support, including off-site and event work where applicable.

The role will initially and from time-to-time be based in Martin Audio HQ in High Wycombe, as well as new TiMax offices in King’s Cross, London.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week over the standard working hours of 8.45am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4pm on Friday. An hour is allowed for lunch Monday to Thursday and 45 minutes on Friday.
