Product Specialist - Technology Alliances (R&D COO Office)

The R&D COO Office are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Specialist to work with R&D Technology Alliances.  

The  focus of the R&D COO Office is to enable the R&D organization to create, maintain , and rollout high-quality world class products in an efficient manner by ensuring planning and execution of our product releases, aligned ways of working across teams, management of strategic programs and projects and communication according to the Rhythm of the Business.

The Technology Alliances team, within the R&D COO Office, manages the partner relationships with our Alliance Partners and bridges the gap between IFS Internal stakeholders in the day to day partner operations work. We also provide support to Product Managers and other stakeholders by providing extra knowledge insight, conducting pipeline analyses, and supporting Partner got to market motions.   

The Technology Alliances Team have the following responsibilities:

  • They maintain, onboard and offboard Technology Alliance Partners.
  • Define, document, and keep partner information and processes on the IFS Marketplace
  • Work closely with the Global Procurement team in the royalty reporting and payments to Partners
  • Support IFS Sales team in closing deals involving the Partner products
  • Support the Technology Alliances contact persons in getting access to IFS resources such as Demo environments , Demo Showroom IFS Academy etc.
  • Keep close contact with owning IFS Product team Product Managers in the Partner product use cases with the IFS Solutions.
  • Enable and Support Strategic Sales cases, where “out of the pricelist” models are required. 

As a Product Specialist – Technology Alliances, you will work with Technology Alliances team on delivering key projects and deliverables, which will include:

  • Support Product Managers with managing Product Portfolio as part of regular product reviews. 
  • Co-Manage and participate in delivering key strategic initiatives related to the process transformation at IFS. 
  • Research competitive information, conduct analyses and share insight with the stakeholders.  
  • Pro-actively search for improvements, opportunities to grow by transforming vision, strategies, and roadmaps into functional designs/new solutions.
  • Support Product Owners with the process of reviewing Product Portfolio as part of regular product business review
  • Contribute to improvements in IFS operational efficiencies, services, and processes by actively engaging with colleagues, requirement owners and other stakeholders
  • Document changes, participate in the creation of enablement materials, trainings
  • Raise internal awareness of customer impacting bugs and/or issues and drive the appropriate prioritization for fixes and/or responses
  • Build reports and provide insights related to Partner products or the performance (regular reporting and ad-hoc insights)

 

  • University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in, Business Management
  • Proven experience in Product Management, Finance or Commercial Analysis
  • Tenacious, with a passion to get the job done 
  • Self-going and driving own work is important
  • Ability to link process to technology and contribute towards product direction 
  • Desire to learn new areas, find ways to improve and do things smarter 
  • Very good communication and presentation skills along with the ability to apply expertise and technology to achieve work objectives. 
  • Experience in partner product management is a requirement 
  • Competent and experienced in documentation, presentation and training  
  • Exceptionally organized 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
