Product Specialist - R&D, IFS ESG

We, IFS ESG team lookouts for dynamic and open-minded individuals to join us as Product Specialist to work on ESG-related product development.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with the entire suite of IFS Cloud offerings, with a primary focus on Sustainability and ESG , in a new product area aimed at ESG disclosures, and promoting sustainability across existing product areas.  ESG, by its nature, is cross functional, covering all areas of IFS Cloud, from HCM for social metrics to Supply Chain for transportation emissions, and Procurement for understanding suppliers, among many others. The product is in an incubation phase giving the opportunity work on iterative product development consistent with a customer centric approach.

This is truly a cross-functional role with projects touching any area of the product or several areas of the product which have impact on Sustainability and ESG. The potential for growth is limited only by your attitude, ambition, and talent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the R&D lifecycle of our products via requirement analysis, functional designing, testing, documentation, and R&D support.
• Assist the program manager with estimates and clear design documentation for new features and enhancements.
• Work closely with Software Engineering Managers and Program Managers to ensure continuous delivery of our software products.
• Collaborate with and proactively share ESG knowledge, guide, and train colleagues.
• Contribute to improvements in IFS products, services, and processes by actively engaging with colleagues, requirement owners and other stakeholders.
• Build ESG knowledge and expertise
• Work with the ESG team to translate ESG knowledge into product development requirements
• Build IFS Cloud knowledge and expertise to uncover, and extract ESG related data, metrics and KPI’s
• Build ESG knowledge on GRI, SASB and ESRS to create a database of ESG KPI’s

• University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in sustainability
• Previous experience in ESG and Sustainabiltiy
• Previous experience in Software Development
• Analytical and Reporting skills (Power BI) would be a plus
