About the Role

The Product Strategy Analyst position is responsible for becoming a product expert and providing product insights and education to the larger agency and client teams. It is the responsibility of the Product Strategy Analyst to have an intimate knowledge of all things related to the clients products, how they work, what their market position is, and how to best demonstrate their technologies or capabilities. The position requires maintaining direct communication with both Client and Agency teams regarding all things product, feature and industry related. This includes the creation, substantiation, and distribution of all marketing claims used across all messaging. You will also work closely with the Strategy teams to help craft strategic positioning and insights for new creative work. This is a position designed for someone who lives and breathes cars and would like to take the next step in connecting advertising to an automotive passion.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Report to the Director of Strategy.
  • Maintain a fluid knowledge of all client products and features
  • Must be able to article how a technology works and best practices on integrating into creative concepts
  • Maintains agency and client claims process.
    • Reports Findings to senior personnel
    • Will research and substantiate new claims for advertising purposes.
    • Present new claims to senior personnel and client teams for approvals
  • Reviews strategic briefs, creative concepts, rough cuts, and final versions of creative work for product accuracy.
  • Attend shoots to ensure product accuracy.
  • Answer product related questions from Creative, Account, Strategy, and Production teams.
  • Remain knowledgeable about the automotive industry and identify potential opportunities for conquesting against competitors.
    • Present findings to senior personnel

 

What You’ll Need

  • Strong automotive interest required
  • Must have experience with research and analytics
    • Automotive research experience is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Must be comfortable working with large data sheets
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Google Drive
  • Experience working in advertising is a plus
  • Experience with a previous vehicle account is a plus
  • Experience with Wards Automotive and AutoPacific data is a plus
  • Overnight travel may be required
  • Occasional nights and weekends may be required

The compensation for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$60,000$140,000 USD
