What you will do:
The Product Specialist BDE is responsible for (but not limited to):
- Recommending efficient modifications to End User Compute environments to improve customer experience and increase operational efficiency.
- Assisting in the development of product features to ensure a competitive and marketable range of products.
- Assisting in the development of sales ideas and promotional materials to support new and existing products.
- Ensuring all marketing support documentation is current and has received the appropriate compliance sign-off.
- Assisting in the development of regular product communications to customers and advisers.
- Determining appropriate procedures for all technologies and assist in all equipment configurations.
- Budgeting and forecasting, improving existing software capability, creating, managing and disbursing reports as required.
- Gathering, defining, and documenting requirements, deliveries, and outcomes, providing technical guidance.
- Providing execution of activities related to infrastructure, security, continuous integration, continuous deployment, IT operations and metrics
- Responsible for implementing a principle driven health and safety culture that cares for employees and ensures their safety in line with Datacom policy.
- Takes reasonable care that their actions (or inactions) do not harm the Health and Safety of self or others. Reports all incidents, hazards or unsafe work practices as per Datacom policy.
What you’ll bring:
- At least 3+ years of product management experience.
- A broad and deep understanding of technical infrastructure projects, operations and related technology dependencies.
- Proven ability to manage complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
- The ability to interact and network with subordinates, supervisors and functional peer groups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.
