What you will do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive product security strategy, including policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead the product security team in conducting security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management for all products.
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate security into the product lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Establish and maintain security requirements and standards for products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on secure coding practices, architecture reviews, and security testing methodologies.
- Coordinate and conduct security training and awareness programs for employees, raising awareness of security risks and best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats and trends, conducting research and analysis to assess their potential impact on our products.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on product security, representing the company in discussions with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in product security, with a proven track record of managing security initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of software and hardware security principles, including cryptography, secure coding practices, and secure design principles.
- Experience with security testing tools and methodologies, such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, and penetration testing.
- Knowledge of industry security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent are a plus
