In this role, you will be responsible for increasing product quality awareness among employees and controlling product quality risks. You'll be stationed in a central Quality team reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality, and thinking about how to influence development teams around the R&D organization.

What are we looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience.
  • You are able to read something at the detail-level (an automated scan, a standards or best practices document, log output), interpret it, and communicate about it at an overview-level (to managers, across projects).
  • You have experience leading cross-team initiatives without a manager assigning specific tasks.
  • You are able to advocate for and escalate product quality issues on development teams across the organization.

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • You have experience testing a web application against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, or a desktop or mobile app against the Windows or Apple Accessibility Programming Guidelines.
  • You have experience working in a regulated industry (medical, aviation, etc.), with internal or external audits, adhering to standard operating procedures, or in bringing an organization into compliance with an internationally-recognized standard.
  • You have experience identifying ways to streamline processes by automating tasks and workflows, or implementing such automation.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary with regular reviews and opportunities for advancement.
  • 30 days PTO.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • Career development training and opportunities.
  • Regular team events and outings like skiing trips.
  • Excellent daily lunch at the office.
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate a healthy work-life balance.
  • A dedicated training budget for professional development.
  • Various modes of travel to and from the office are covered by Mendix.

This is a hybrid working position, which means you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to work from home as well as from our office located in Rotterdam.
We expect the successful candidate to be present in the office at least 3 to 5 days a week, as we believe that in-person teamwork is essential for building a cohesive team and delivering high-quality work.

Working for Mendix and with our Customers means your reliability has to be beyond any doubt, and therefore every employment is subject to an onboarding screening and the condition precedent a Certificate of Conduct is provided that demonstrates you did not commit any offences that are relevant to the performance of your function.
