Product Pricing Strategy Director

As Product Pricing Strategy Director, you will help develop and execute strategic Pricing and Packaging recommendations to drive growth for Outreach’s Business Units. This role sits on the Product Management team and reports to the Senior Director, Product Strategy and Operations. You will collaborate closely with Finance, and work cross-functionally as a strategic thought partner to the GMs of Product and Product Marketing, helping them achieve their revenue targets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop the pricing and monetization strategy across all product offerings across three mission critical business units, informed by data-driven insights and market feedback
  • Thought leadership on pricing strategies and actively drive alignment and communication of product pricing strategies  across cross-functional teams 
  • Conduct periodic reviews of product price performance and define, track and measure pricing KPIs, identifying actionable decision insights to improve Pricing and Packaging
  • Support business units in getting alignment on Pricing and Packaging changes and passing Pricing Committee approval reviews
  • Translate pricing strategy into executable plans, partnering cross functionally with Product Management, Product Marketing, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, Business Systems, Revenue Ops and Sales Enablement teams
  • Identifying new business and growth opportunities to create incremental growth, including new pricing models and go to market approaches.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer value perceptions to inform pricing decisions.
  • Develop Pricing Models: Implementing various pricing models (e.g., value-based, competitive, freemium) based on product features, target market, and business goals.
  • Continuously monitor and adapt pricing strategies based on market dynamics and customer behavior with active input from the sales and finance teams

Our Ideal candidate:

  • 7 or more years of experience in the technology industry across pricing, sales strategy, business operations or product strategy. Experience in enterprise technology or low-code app development products a plus
  • 4 or more years of pricing strategy, product management, GTM or business strategy experience in a technology or consulting firm
  • Strong proficiency with synthesizing and analyzing large data sets
  • A framework or process by which to make decisions, and experience applying value-based pricing theories and analytical methodologies
  • Expertise in designing pricing or marketing surveys such as conjoint analysis, A-B testing or equivalent
  • An effective communicator and highly effective in securing buy-in on monetization strategies from executives and leaders across the business

The base salary range for this role is $155,000-$200,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
