Product Owner

Role and Duties:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a designated group of users, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in the delivery of key services, including:
    • Gathering and documenting business requirements.
    • Managing and following up on user requests.
    • Translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.
    • Proposing and implementing process improvements.
    • Coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
    • Advising super-users on application usage, offering solutions and proposing workarounds when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, manage data extraction, and perform other operational activities related to specific business applications.
  • Engage in meetings with business users and IT teams to define, prioritize, and address both day-to-day and project-related user requests.
  • Contribute to project preparation, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with business needs.
  • Support the IBS and IS teams by identifying opportunities for internal process improvements and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Manage incident resolution and provide advanced L2 and L3 support in the designated functional areas.
  • Coordinate system changes across multiple platforms and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and participate in unit testing and UAT activities, contributing to the testing strategy and ensuring successful execution.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data transfer issues, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Be flexible, customer-service oriented, and adapt to evolving project needs.

Required Competencies:

  • Solid IT expertise, particularly in application development, testing, and support.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex, multi-functional issues efficiently.
  • Proficient in business process analysis and tools (e.g., Miro, Bizagi, Jira, Confluence).
  • Extensive experience in translating business requirements into User Stories.
  • Proven experience with Agile SCRUM methodology in industries such as lifescience, food or Pharma.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing conflicting priorities and resolving issues effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader team.
  • Demonstrated success working with colleagues and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Quick learner, capable of thinking creatively and crafting innovative solutions.
  • Willingness to travel for project rollouts and other activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
