R3's Professional Services team comprises innovative problem-solvers and strategic, fast-moving team members collaborating with customers to solve challenges and build solutions leveraging R3's flagship DLT technology Corda. As part of the post-sales organisation, Professional Services drives successful customer outcomes by defining and delivering end-to-end customer solutions, including and not limited to Design, Build & Deployment phases, guiding the customer at each step.
Your Responsibilities:
- Define product backlog, collaborating with customers and Solution Architects within the PS organisation to accurately articulate customer vision into product requirements/roadmap.
- Help facilitate discovery workshops to understand the business purpose and high-level business requirements and transfer these into technical and business needs, pulling in relevant stakeholders to help define customer features.
- Support client delivery whilst championing agile and leveraging the best agile processes. Ability to follow either Waterfall or Agile ways of working based on customers' appetite incorporating as many agile processes as possible to demonstrate product value.
- Ability to convey and simplify technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Create appropriate business collateral, including diagrams, to define business processes through various relevant business specification documents and templates.
- Following agile principles, write user stories and relevant acceptance criteria by working closely with the development and QA teams.
- Own the Product backlog, ensuring priorities are clear by obtaining input from various stakeholders and be the point of contact for the development team.
- Prepare for demos and sign-off of any deliverables of working solutions or POCs to both internal and customer teams.
- Where applicable, create reusable templates and artefacts needed to complete the functional phase of the project, including and not limited to Business Flow Diagrams and Functional Specs.
- Lead customer demos and workshops to demonstrate product value frequently to get customer sign-off and elicit feedback.
- Collaborating with designers to create mock-ups of what the final product will look like.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Obtain relevant Agile certification.
Your Experience:
- Experience 3+ years of a consultative customer-facing role.
- Broad experience working across the Financial Services domain (Payments, Banking, Insurance, Fintech) is desirable.
- Demonstrated the ability to work with a delivery team using Agile methodology and have proven experience establishing and optimising analysis frameworks.
- Passion for DLT/Blockchain technologies and benefits, although previous experience is not expected.
- Flexibility to travel to client and partner sites for project work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
