Responsibilities
- Define and prioritise the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Work closely with development teams to clearly communicate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client and development team, ensuring a shared understanding of the product vision.
- Lead sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups, ensuring the team remains focused and aligned.
- Monitor and report on product progress, adjusting priorities based on feedback and changing business needs.
- Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and refine product roadmaps.
- Conduct user research and collaborate with UX/UI designers to create customer-focused solutions.
- Ensure the delivered product meets the agreed-upon definition of done and quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively managing expectations and ensuring ongoing communication.
About you
- Minimum of 4+ years' experience as a Product Owner within an Agile environment.
- Experience managing mobile application projects from concept to delivery is essential.
- Proven ability to manage a product backlog and prioritise effectively based on business and customer needs.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and user-centred design processes.
- Experience conducting user research and analysing feedback to drive product improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to balance competing needs and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage workflows and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- Certification as a Product Owner (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Experience working in a consultancy or agency environment.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential impact on product development.
