BlueCat is seeking a software Product Operations Manager responsible for planning, managing, and driving holistic business processes, agile principles, and release planning innovations across our product lines. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, who has the personality to rally support from all our different internal stakeholders.
The Product Operations Manager will drive continuous advancements across BlueCat’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process including product/release planning, agile principles, automation, process improvements, release management, as well as facilitate successful GTM enablement across our product & business teams.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, Manage and drive holistic business processes, agile principles, and release planning innovations across our product lines
· Introduce and drive agile principles and process optimizations across the PLM process and product teams
· Manage, innovate, and drive continuous advancement of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process
· Release Program Management – Drive releases of our products. Engage with product managers and engineering throughout all phases of requirements collection, planning, and execution. Including progress on backlog refinement, development, documentation, quality assurance, successful release and GTM support
· Drive release coordination across Product Management, Engineering, Customer Care, Marketing, and other business stakeholders to ensure new releases successful GA and GTM.
· Enable business teams in advance of upcoming product releases. Partner and support these teams as they develop their individual business GTM plans.
· Communicate overall release calendar, upcoming events, and uplevel program, product, and release messaging.
· Drive release retrospectives to improve the PLM process, overall efficiencies across the process
Skills and Experiences Required:
· Strong written and verbal communications
· 5+ years’ experience managing software releases
· 3+ years’ experience in Agile software development, Agile Certification a plus
· University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
· PMP Certification a plus
· Experience in Networking concepts or DDI a plus
· Strong knowledge of Jira, Excel, PowerPoint a plus
