Product Marketing Manager

As our new Product Marketing Manager you will bring our exciting roadmap of product and feature innovations to life, targeting both B2B Enterprise and B2C audiences. You will collaborate closely with Product and Commercial teams, as well as key Marketing colleagues across our US, UK, and EU markets.

We are on a dynamic growth journey, and your role will be pivotal in shaping compelling product narratives and go-to-market (GTM) strategies. You will ensure our features and innovations resonate with the specific needs of our key customer segments.

What you'll be doing:

  • Customer and market insights - become an expert in our key customer segments. Understand their needs, buying behaviours and preferences. Form a deep understanding of the key competitor set. Share examples, best practices, hypotheses and POV’s around potential opportunities and threats in our marketplace.
  • Research, socialise and stay up-to-date with all current macro themes that touch our marketplace and our customers; such as new and evolving technologies, including AI and customer experience trends and tools.
  • Partner with other PMM team members to ensure universal alignment to our value proposition. Seek out opportunities to bring this to life across all channels, collateral and touchpoints.
  • Act as key conduit between Product and Marketing team for new product and feature launches. Develop launch strategies of varying sizes and scope, coordinating with global Marketing colleagues.
  • Partner closely with the Product and Marketing teams to develop compelling GTM strategies to promote awareness, consideration and adoption of our expanding suite of features. Drive powerful lifecycle positioning, messaging and comms across specific priority verticals and focus on growing feature adoption.
  • Collaborate with other PMM colleagues to bring our Value Proposition and wider audience strategy to life across key audience segments and target verticals.
  • Take ownership of the external product roadmap and partner with other team members to ensure this remains up-to-date and brings to life our short, medium and long term plans, for internal and external audiences.
  • Champion the voice of the customer within Trustpilot, always ensuring products, features and propositions are clearly aligned to customer needs and are appropriately communicated. 
  • Develop, test and analyse new tactics to increase conversion and engagement. 
  • Partner closely with the Product team on experimentation and beta testing. Harvest learnings, early customer testimonials and share best practices to achieve better customer and commercial outcomes. 
  • Act with a growth-mindset. Collaborate with Product, PMM, Marketing, Data, Monetization etc. to find new routes to market / new and better ways of positioning the value Trustpilot brings to our customers.
  • Work closely with UX, Research and Design to shape innovative product features and propositions.
  • Make recommendations for systems / approaches, processes, tools and ways of working that deliver efficiencies in our GTM approaches.

Who you are:

  • You will bring strategy, effective communication and collaboration skills and can evidence a 4+ year proven history of product marketing, within a SaaS/ tech-centric global organisation. 
  • Clear understanding of SaaS / Enterprise space.
  • Motivated by evolving technologies and gaining a deep understanding of opportunities and risks associated with these.
  • Fascinated by metrics and data from multiple sources; able to use these and drive insight to inform feature development, roadmaps and communications to scale customer and commercial growth.
  • Experienced at collaborating with multi-disciplined teams on GTM, value propositions and wider marketing programmes.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and self-motivated to build out and spearhead initiatives. Flexible approach to work and excited by change.
  • Bias for action and able to deliver projects to a close, on time and on budget.
  • Experienced in writing briefs and developing value propositions and GTM / Sales collateral.
  • Good understanding of research, experience with principles of segmentation and taking different routes to market based on user needs and insight.
  • Experience of working in a global organisation and partnering closely with colleagues across Regions. Able to help define central ideas and nuance for Regional variation, identifying economies of scale and balancing in-market needs.
  • Proven project management skills, able to course-correct and drive alignment. Ability to manage scope creep discussions and keep a wider group of stakeholders aligned.
