Plum Fintech is hiring a

Product Marketing Manager

London, United Kingdom
Full-Time

At Plum, we're on a mission to maximise wealth for all. We’re making saving money effortless and turning investing into something everyone can do.

Our journey began back in 2017, when we became one of the first to use artificial intelligence and automation to simplify personal finance. Fast forward to today, and we've already helped people save £2 billion across 10 European markets.

Named the UK's fastest-growing fintech in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, our success is down to the passion and dedication of our diverse team. Based in our London, Athens and Nicosia offices, 170 talented people work together to empower people to do more with their money. And now, the team is growing!

The Role

We’re really excited to be hiring for our first Product Marketing Manager in the UK! We’re looking for someone who’s excited about translating Plum’s unique saving and automation products into clear, differentiated and distinctive positioned products that are super compelling to UK consumers.

You’ll own our product offering in the UK, communicating the difference between savings and investment products in a way that makes sense for customers. It’s a really exciting time to join Plum as we build out a full suite of products that help people save for the short, medium and long term.

You’ll sit in our marketing team, mainly based in London – but you’ll spend equal time between our product and marketing teams. On the product side, you’ll be working with Product Managers and Designers to craft compelling products and eventually take them to market. On the marketing side, you’ll be crafting compelling positioning and messaging and coordinating channel owners to launch new products and help grow existing ones via campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that clearly articulates the benefits of Plum's products in the UK
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product features and releases, making sure they align with our brand and business objectives
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, informing our product and marketing strategies

  • Create and manage engaging and informative product content
  • Work within cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product launches, campaigns, and seasonal activities
  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to maximise impact

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years experience in product marketing
  • You’re a storyteller: you have excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical features into clear, compelling benefits
  • You have a strong understanding of the product and customer lifecycles and experience in managing go-to-market strategies for tech products
  • Your instinct is to advocate for customers and you obsess over understanding their needs and wants
  • You’re a team player and can work cross-functionally with lots of different disciplines and stakeholders. You can influence others both through presentations and casual conversations
  • You like thinking creatively and enjoy running brainstorms
  • You have a data-driven mindset and can use the right insights to create effective, efficient marketing

Plum's Perks:

  • Annual training budget
  • Flexible approach to remote working, though we encourage at least 2-3 days a week in our beautiful office in central London for optimal collaboration
  • Team breakfast on Tuesdays and team lunch on Thursdays in the office, as well as a plentiful supply of fruit, snacks and coffee
  • Free Plum Premium subscription (normally £9.99 a month)
