The Product Marketing team at Lightspeed is seeking a results-oriented Product Marketing Manager to accelerate the growth of the Hospitality product line in EMEA and reporting to the Sr. Director of EMEA Marketing, and working closely with the Global PMM Lead for Hospitality, this position will: establish impactful positioning and messaging for the EMEA region; conduct market analysis; gather customer feedback; and build and execute programs in EMEA and globally that support business goals. Additionally, you will act as the voice of the customer for the EMEA region and ensure customer needs are addressed at each marketing touchpoint.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Becoming an expert in the hospitality industry in markets where we currently sell (UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland) or will expand in the future and understanding the technology landscape that helps restaurants, hotels or other hospitality businesses be successful. 
  • Contributing to the market research roadmap and gleaning nuanced market insights that will help inform our roadmaps and hone our messaging and pricing. 
  • Recommending current and future market positioning opportunities, including new functionality, offerings, improvements and business models. 
  • Learning the competitive landscape and products inside-out so that you can effectively position our products in the market as well as arm customer-facing teams with that knowledge. 
  • Being the go-to person for messaging around our Hospitality products and value proposition in EMEA.
  • Partnering with the regional Marketing teams, Product Management, Design, Operations & Customer Success teams to deliver your strategy, influencing product roadmaps and advocating for experiences that drive growth and customer satisfaction. 
  • Collaborate with international Product Marketing and Product teams through weekly meetings, potentially scheduled in the evenings to accommodate global time zones. Time spent in these meetings can be flexed to the following morning to minimise disruption to your workday.
  • Responsible for defining and executing GTM strategies for new features and product releases. 
  • In collaboration with product marketing and regional leadership, support long-term strategy development and priorities that will meet the brand and product marketing needs of our business. 
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of our customer and buyer personas to translate insights into strategies that help support and drive our roadmap. 
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and action plans on product and brand marketing initiatives. 
  • Stakeholder management across multiple industries, products and projects to ensure consistent messaging and delivery of impactful campaigns.

What you'll be bringing to the team:

  • Proven experience working in a product marketing or equivalent role for at least three years. 
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, business analysis, marketing principles, research and analysis with strong project management skills. 
  • Excelling in Fast-Paced Environments: Thrive under pressure and can effectively manage multiple deadlines, even when projects have tight turnaround times. 
  • Independent Problem-Solver: Demonstrates strong initiative and resourcefulness, taking ownership of identifying solutions to challenges and proactively seeking answers
  • Highly organised, analytical and a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written and speaking at events; comfort working and communicating across multiple time zones through a combination of live and asynchronous channels. 
  • Ability to build and maintain close working relationships and act as liaison with cross-functional and external stakeholders. 
  • Ability to act as a positive, motivating leader who can inspire others to rise to new challenges. 
  • Experience in Hospitality Services in any capacity is a strong asset.
