As a Product Marketing Manager, you are the “incenter” of a triangle with customer success, engineering/design, and marketing as the vertices. It requires discipline, breadth, and intention. The founding team here is passionate about product leaders who are naturally empathic, say a thousand no’s for every yes, and bring delight to customers.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping our external messaging and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our visibility and credibility. Most importantly, you have a great opportunity to develop a deep understanding of AI, design, customer experience, and authenticity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop thought leadership content, product positioning, and customer facing messaging
  • Articulate complex concepts in simple terms, both in a written and visual context
  • Define strategy, metrics, and measurement plan for marketing initiatives
  • Test and refine new and creative marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage relevant audiences
  • Work effectively across DevRev with groups such as marketing, sales, product, engineering, and design
  • Launch and market DevRev products 
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews

Qualifications

  • BS/BA (or MS/MA) or equivalent degree
  • 3-5+ years of experience specifically in product marketing or related roles such as marketing management, brand management, or product management
  • Experience and Strong understanding of two or more of the following: Customer Engagement/Enterprise Software, Social and Collaboration Design, Community Growth & Engagement, API Design, Automation, Federated Search, & DevOps
  • Tools/Workflows
  • Deeply understand the interactions between Engineering teams and and front office workers; design solutions they find intuitive and delightful
  • Strong technically: you understand how software is built, packaged, and deployed
  • You have a proven track record as a Product Marketer or Manager, ideally at a SaaS company
  • Passion for design and usability
  • Highly independent and pragmatic
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex feedback into actionable priorities
  • Strong communication skills, with clear verbal communication as well as explicit and mindful written communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, product, engineering, and design
