As a Product Manager, what you will do at Visa

Driving and delivering platform capabilities and strategies on time. Defining the roadmap. Building and prioritizing well-groomed backlog. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

What will you do

  • Implement the platform vision, strategy, roadmap of the VADP platform suits including:
  • Managing end-to-end execution of platform development
  • Participating and providing business input to the design and technology discussions
  • Leading and collaborating with teams across Visa to align VADP with Visa Global strategy, product suite, and processes
  • Define and prioritize platform requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and communicate them clearly to the development team and collaborators
  • Working with Product, Research, Data Scientists, Architecture, Engineering, UX teams, Security, and others to deliver common outcome
  • Onboard new products into VADP platform
  • Presenting findings, results, and value proposition to clients
  • Participating and providing business input to the design and technology discussions
  • Developing high-quality resilient scalable platform capabilities
  • Create & deliver platform pitches and demos to internal and external partners to share new platform capabilities
  • Manage a technical, API driven product platform, in a technically complex environment
  • Exhibit technical fluency with peers and product development partners to communicate business requirements, features, and user stories to ensure success
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and influencing across organizational boundaries in a highly matrixed and distributed organization, with clients, and partners
  • Function as the primary advocate for the platform across Visa
  • Take a creative and design thinking approach to develop innovative solutions to industry challenges
  • Become go-to-person for VADP platform representing the product and product strategy

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
  • Demonstrated track record of working product management including working with analytics products or technical platforms.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
  • You have a strong background in product management for advanced analytics products in Financial Services, including client-facing delivery experience
  • You have prior experience working in financial risk and/or payments within the financial services industry
  • You have a proven record of success in fast-paced, agile environments with demanding timelines.
  • Good understanding and previous experience on building products using modern technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, AI/ML, Gen-AI, Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), etc.
  • You are experienced at presenting information to all levels, with ability to facilitate group discussions and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across geographic, functional lines and levels
  • Strong ability to consume complex data and information, develop insights and create impactful stories
  • Strong collaboration and influence skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams to get results, projects, and engagements to completion
  • Capable of leading critical communication for executives

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,100.00 to 154,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
