Product Manager

Due to major growth we are expanding our Product team in Sydney and currently looking for a Product Manager to join the team. 

We are looking for an experienced and driven Product Manager to join our Central Product team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Marketing group through scoping, implementation and ongoing support of modern marketing technology solutions that improves our player Retention / Engagement capabilities, enabling operational efficiency and increasing our customer reach and personalisation. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Establish yourself  to become the company acknowledged expert on your target users
  • Considered an acknowledged expert in the workings of your product, along with all related systems and components.
  • Define business outcomes and target metrics for your product, aligning these to VGW and central technology objectives and key results
  • Contribute to the team’s product roadmaps
  • Prioritise items for delivery and work closely with engineering teams to deliver
  • Proactively analyse and report on business performance and product issues
  • Define success metrics at the outset of new product development and take a disciplined approach to delivering
  • Manage delivery and clearly articulate product requirements for the engineering team
  • Be able to clearly articulate the problems we are solving and outcomes we are seeking by delivering a given feature/product
  • Work with customer facing and operational teams to identify optimisation opportunities and improve product and business performance
  • Work closely with Data  and Engineering teams to develop products that enhance the customer experience and solve the problems that matter.

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • A bachelor-level degree in a relevant discipline is preferred, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology/digital business.
  • Experience delivering products iteratively via modern methodologies, including but not limited to ShapeUp, Kanban, Scrum, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit the audience and clearly articulate complex concepts
  • A passion for analysing and solving complex business problems
  • Ability to work with and motivate Engineering teams
