Product Manager - Ultrasound in Neurosurgery

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager Ultrasound to join our growing team in the neurosurgical field.

As a Product Manager Ultrasound, you will play a critical role in our Product Management & Marketing department. Your main responsibility is to drive and ensure the long-term success of our Ultrasound Navigation product line (https://www.brainlab.com/surgery-products/overview-neurosurgery-products/ultrasound-navigation/). You will play a crucial role in transforming our corporate strategy and product vision into concrete and impactful products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining a product vision and strategy, in consultation with various stakeholders
  • Transforming this strategy into a concrete Roadmap
  • Gathering market, customer, partner and sales feedback to analyze customer needs and trends, competitive information and regional requirements.
  • Defining and prioritizing product requirements for new features
  • Prioritizing the requirements to the OS from the different software applications and our customers
  • Develop value proposition, messaging and claims – to be substantiated with clinical evidence (with Clinical Marketing)
  • Participating in relevant events and sales presentations to promote our products
  • Monitor global service sales and business performance against objectives and forecasts and provide regular reports with key business figures and KPI’s
  • Develop and deliver enablement content and training to increase sales’ ability to articulate the product value
  • Manage product/article lifecycle (launching, quoting, pricing, updates, compatibility, phase-out)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated expertise in in product management, preferably within the medical ultrasound market
  • Strong strategic and entrepreneurial thinking abilities
  • Ability to translate complex contexts and solutions into clear and concise visions and strategies
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills in both English and German
  • Knowledge in product & requirements management
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Good assertiveness
  • Up to 30% travel required; the position is based in our headquarters in Munich
