Purpose

As the Product Manager IV for Personal Loans at Kueski, you will be part of  the strategy and product management of our personal loans portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial solutions for millions of consumers in Mexico, profoundly impacting their financial well-being and access to credit. In this role, you are not just managing a product; you are revolutionizing the personal finance landscape by providing innovative, reliable, and accessible loan solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Craft and execute a comprehensive strategy for Kueski's personal loans product line, focusing on scalability, customer satisfaction, and market expansion
  • Product Ownership: Take full ownership of the personal loans portfolio, ensuring its success by driving product enhancements, optimizing user experience, and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, finance, and other teams to deliver product enhancements and innovations that align with business goals and customer needs
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics, user feedback, and market research to inform product decisions, ensuring alignment with customer demands and business objectives
  • Market Impact: Make a significant contribution to the company’s mission by providing accessible and innovative financial solutions that address the needs of underserved consumers in Mexico
  • Vision and Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear vision for the personal loans product, inspiring and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results and business growth
  • Develop requirements for engineering teams that integrate customer insights and collaborate with our design team to create simple, elegant, and innovative interfaces
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure a seamless user experience 
  • Partner with different teams to define and execute research efforts to inform and validate product direction 
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage the release cycles of our applications to continuously drive product improvement 
  • Leverage analytics and qualitative customer insights to identify potential opportunities, identify efficient ways to validate hypotheses, and track live performance to eat a rate and further improve the business 
  • Run basic financial models to assess the potential impact of features and make go/no-go decisions: Identify potential opportunities and assess their potential impact on the business by running basic financial models 

Position Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience with 3-5 years of experience in financial services or fintech
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using data to drive product decisions
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly personal loans, with insights into consumer behavior and market trends
  • Ability to articulate product vision and strategy effectively to stakeholders at all levels
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering user-centered solutions that make a positive difference in people's lives
  • Ability to work in a startup or fast-paced and agile development environment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills: Ability to interpret large amounts of data and work with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements 
  • It's important to think analytically about existing processes and how to improve them
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on understanding and meeting the needs of our users, with the ability to translate user feedback into actionable insights 
  • Collaboration and leadership skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams and leading projects to successful outcomes 
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English
