Our Inventory team at Xero is dedicated to building tools that empower small businesses to manage their stock efficiently and accurately. We focus on delivering inventory solutions that cater to a wide range of needs, from basic stock tracking to advanced integrations. Our goal is to streamline the inventory process, making it easier for goods-based businesses to monitor, optimise, and grow their inventory management and operations, all while saving them time and simplifying their daily workflows.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for setting our vision and strategy for a portfolio of products and services. You will lead, coach and mentor a talented team. Your skillful leadership enables them, and their engineering pods, to deliver compelling products and services that solve real problems for our customers.

What you’ll do

  • Understanding customer problems, you will be the champion of the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ and deliver value through defining, driving and executing a product roadmap that realises Xero’s vision and objectives and ensures the success of the product. 
  • Bridge technical and business worlds as you lead strong and productive relationships with global business stakeholders to understand and deliver on market needs and priorities, and evangelise the product vision. 
  • Work with strategy, product marketing, data and research teams and drive user and competitive research to uncover customer needs and new product value propositions in line with Xero’s vision. 
  • Work closely with your peers in the product group leadership team: architects, product designers and agile facilitators to deliver quality software that solves real customer problems.
