The Impact of a Product Manager to Coupa:
As the Product Manager for Coupa’s Implementation Experience, you will own and execute on a product roadmap that will streamline implementations of customers and establish a no-code implementation paradigm for integrations across the Coupa ecosystem. As a result, this role will have a direct impact on customers in Coupa’s mid-market segment, strategic partners, suppliers, 3rd party application developers, and more!
You sit in the middle of the business community, engineering team, services team, and user experience team and are the voice of the customer. Your responsibilities range from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You’ll build products from existing ideas, and help develop new and innovative ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time with customers to understand their pain points, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
What You'll Do:
- Drive roadmap planning and execution of Coupa’s new Implementation Experience portfolio
- In support of this portfolio, establish and evangelize a “Quickstart Framework” to simplify implementation and configuration processes
- Innovate on simple, elegant, no-code integration experiences
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including strategy, roadmap, feature design, development, go-to-market, field support, and long-term adoption
- Work very closely with user experience and engineering through design, build, test of requirements and documentation
- Support multiple development & delivery teams to manage a customer and innovation-focused product roadmap
- Develop a broad-based understanding of direct and indirect spend
What You Will Bring To Coupa:
- You have at least 3 years of Associate PM or PM experience in an innovative SaaS/Cloud product company (or a similar mixture of PM and other software leadership roles)
- Strong familiarity with foundational integration concepts such as REST, OAuth/OIDC, webhooks, data transformation, etc.
- Experience with iPaaS not required, but a plus
- Ability to use a deeply configurable product and explain how and why it works the way it does
- An innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, but a “willingness to get my hands dirty” attitude
- Experience working cross-functionally in SaaS organizations with product management teams, structuring and analyzing data to yield interpretable, actionable insights
- Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to improve products for them in meaningful ways
- Understanding of the importance of UX and ability to prioritize and drive toward highly usable, well designed solutions with clear UX standards
