About the Role 

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join the Integrated Offerings team.  This role will be working in a team-oriented environment with smart and hardworking individuals in a results-oriented culture.  This individual will have the opportunity to solve fun and complex industry-wide problems spanning a variety of alternative investment products. 

The Integrated Offerings team is responsible for delivering a complete multi-asset class experience on the iCapital platform.  This position will be responsible for all aspects of product building ranging from discovery to roll out. We live and breathe agile and deploy fast to learn and iterate quickly.  We love to work hard and have fun, so the ideal candidate will embrace a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Become a subject-matter expert for the role’s specific product area 
  • Engage with end users, clients, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to evolve the platform 
  • Drive collaboration across internal teams like sales, marketing, legal and compliance to bring product to life 
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap that is consistent with company strategy and product priorities
  • Work closely with UX, Engineering, and other internal partners throughout the full product development lifecycle, from concept through testing and roll out 
  • Monitor the success of your product area and work continuously to improve against target metrics
  • Inform decisions with qualitative and quantitative data 
  • Serve as the evangelist for your product area through meetings and presentations with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Design new features by scoping and developing functional requirements, functional designs, and documenting acceptance criteria 

 

Qualifications 

  • 6+ years of experience in product management in a fast-paced, agile environment 
  • Demonstrated experience fully owning a product or product area 
  • Able to lead through influence and effectively partner with colleagues, teams, and clients 
  • Natural problem solver and driven to push initiatives to completion 
  • Critical thinker and comfortable with the unknown 
  • Strong Knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies 
  • Willingness to dig deep, analyze, and know the ins and outs of how things work 
  • Ability to prioritize features and enhancements in the backlog 
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of follow through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience with c-suite presentations required 
  • Experience defining features and communicating requirements to engineering in clearly written documentation 
  • Ensure functional and regression QA testing including execution of test cases as needed 

 Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with Product Management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com, GitHub/GitLab, Tableau 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Familiarity with product discovery, A/B testing and user research practices 
  • Financial technology background preferred  
  • Proficient in SQL and able to generate insights through data 

  

Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office four days, with the flexibility to work remotely one day. Every department has different needs, and some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
