Who we Are:

Wayfair believes everyone deserves a home they love, and that furnishing your home should be a source of fun, not anxiety. Our product team plays a crucial role in making this vision a reality for millions of people around the world. Partnering with engineering, UX design, analytics, and business partners across Wayfair, our product team ensures that we’re building technology that solves important customer problems in elegant, scalable, measurable ways.

We are looking for a product manager to join our Inventory Replenishment team that focuses on helping suppliers understand and optimize their inventory performance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the vision and execution: Build and maintain roadmaps for your assigned products. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams like UX/UI designers, analysts, engineers, program managers, other product managers, and stakeholders to translate your vision and roadmap into reality .
  • Solve challenging problems with a data-driven approach: Break down complex problems and use quantitative and qualitative reasoning to support your recommendations. Given specific outcomes (e.g., improve a KPI), independently design and execute strategies to solve problems benefiting our global supplier-base and achieve results within a 6-12 month timeframe.
  • Become an expert in your product area: Monitor performance, drive measurable results through data-driven testing practices, and continuously learn to optimize your focus area.

What You'll Need:

  • 4-7 years experience working in product management. Experience in e-commerce and companies with a substantial tech stack is a plus.
  • An ownership mentality. You proactively work to improve your product, its reliability, and plans for its future state. You propose adjustments to priorities as needed, and take responsibility for outcomes, celebrating team wins and as well as acknowledging learning moments openly.
  • Bias towards action. You prioritize value delivery by balancing short term learnings with long term solutioning, and using iterative improvement to reach the vision state. You are adept at making balanced tradeoffs given a set of constraints.
  • Strong collaboration. You assume good intent, partner willingly, and ensure the voices of teammates and stakeholders are heard. You communicate openly and proactively, bringing others into your plans. You coordinate and modify as needed.
  • Good judgment. You manage risk, know when to pivot, can assess multiple paths forward, and use data to inform and advocate for the right next steps
  • Effective communication. Outstanding ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across a spectrum of audiences, including technical teams, senior leadership, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relationship building skills. A track record of building strong, productive relationships across diverse cross functional teams and leading complex projects to successful outcomes.
  • Technical acumen. You have experience working with multiple disciplines: engineering, design, analytics and business partners. You can communicate technical complexity, analytical insights, design principles, and business outcomes depending on the stakeholder and needs.
  • Proven results. You have experience moving the needle on KPIs. You’ve unlocked customer value through strong product discovery and technical delivery. You’ve partnered to get it done, and you have a proven track record of sustaining and maintaining a high bar for your product space, even post launch.
