Product Managers at Vericast are the sole product vision/ strategy owner. This position requires a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, platform thinking, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Product Marketing, User Experience, Finance, and Customer Success. As a Product Manager at Vericast, you will own the product strategy and vision, define the product roadmap and alignment, and help drive the execution. Product managers also monitor the product's financial performance and navigate strategies to drive revenue profit and growth. In addition, you will be working on mission-critical products that shape the direction of the company and the industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • PRODUCT ROADMAP: Establish, articulate, and champion the product vision and business value for our CTV/OTT streaming product. Collaborate with finance on key business metrics to drive the brand's performance. Maintain current market analysis to support product ideation or updates to the existing product lineup. Assess product trends compared to historical performance and current goals and identify gaps and developmental needs. Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, User Experience, & Engineering Teams on existing brands' Evolution/Innovation/Disruption solutions. Develop and manage action plans with timelines and support requirements to implement product improvements. Report on product performance and innovation to internal and external audiences. Develop product-level goals and financial forecasts for the short and long term. 25%
  • PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & INNOVATION: Lead implementation of product development/changes by defining and managing detailed project plans for the CTV/OTT product with PMO & POs; and leading cross-functional teams in meeting key project milestones. Proactively educate internal stakeholders on changing product requirements and strategic goals to drive action. Collaborate with Pricing teams to optimize rate, margin, and functionality. Anticipate training requirements to prepare internal teams. Create conceptual workflows and collaborate to integrate product requirements and support expectations into the cross-functional workstream. Coordinate financial changes into product P&L. 25%
  • PRODUCT REVENUE: Work with Sales to drive CTV/OTT revenue & profit targets, identifying category and client opportunities and suggesting selling strategies. Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand marketplace needs and identify product gaps and opportunities. Provide sales with insights to support sales growth. Work with Sales Enablement to optimize training & product insights within the sales organization. Develop marketing plans and work with Marketing to design and produce sales collateral, PR, solution stories, and industry thought leadership supporting the product. Work with Finance on pricing promotions, as needed. 25%
  • PRODUCT PROFIT/RESULTS: Partner with Pricing, Sales, and Finance Teams to optimize revenue and margin for the CTV/OTT product line. Partner and lead on Evolution/Innovation/Disruption solutions with Engineering to lower costs and increase profits. Work with Sales and Product Marketing to understand the voice of the customer and ensure product ROI and efficacy with clients and consumers. Work with the Inventory Manager to maximize our margins across inventory sources. Develop new inventory partnerships to bolster the product and drive value. Develop product requirements, document initiative stories and delivery timelines. Use internal and external product insights to identify problems, working with leadership to resolve customer or internal concerns. 25%
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • 3 - 5 years Product Management experience (Required)
  • Experience in the OTT/CTV space either on the platform, DSP/SSP or the publisher side (Required)
  • Technical knowledge of streaming programmatic integrations (Preferred)
  • Working relationships with major streaming publishers and ad exchanges (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of measurement and KPIs with the CTV/OTT ecosphere (Preferred)
  • Ecommerce experience strongly preferred

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including data, targeting, and analytics methodologies.
  • Knowledge of promotional practices and purposes, media planning, selling, account management, or agency experience (Required)
  • Proactive, big-picture thinker; able to anticipate other's stated and unstated needs.
  • Results-oriented work style.
  • Strong communication skills with a varied audience at multiple levels, internally and externally
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Understanding of client vertical industries and issues.

Salary Range: $115,000-$130,000 

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
