We are growing our Flexibility Optimization team to further capitalize on the success of our existing product. This team focuses on optimizing the flexibility of batteries and renewables within short-term power markets, making it a key strategic initiative for Dexter's future revenue growth.
We are on the lookout for a Product Manager with experience in asset optimization to spearhead our Flexibility Optimization product. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in short-term power markets, asset optimization, and ideally, battery optimization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating domain knowledge into a robust product strategy, roadmap, and execution plan.
As a Product Manager of the Flexibility Optimization team, you will have an impact on the reliability and efficiency of the power grid by building a product that optimizes Flexible Assets (such as batteries) across short-term power markets. To do this, the team leverages cutting-edge price forecasting and mathematical optimisation - we are a software company with mature Machine Learning infrastructure and related tooling. Flexibility will play a crucial role in ensuring a reliable and stable energy supply, especially as Europe invests heavily in batteries as a key storage solution. Our goal is to make our Flex Optimisation product the go-to product for energy companies in Europe.
What you will be doing:
Domain Knowledge Translation:
Utilize industry expertise in short-term power markets and asset optimization to define the "what" of the Flexibility Optimization product.
Strategy and Roadmap:
Define, communicate, and gain buy-in for the product roadmap and strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, such as our Trade Optimization, Power Forecasting, API Platform, ML Platform, Commercial, and Management teams.
Maintain a hands-on approach with a focus on execution.
User-Centric Approach:
Connect user and customer insights with product prioritization.
