Product Manager - Artificial Intelligence portfolio
Why you?
As an Offerings Analyst, you are responsible for performing competitive analysis , portfolio catalog management, defining value proposition for service offerings, conducting detailed business research activities related to service offerings, packaging and bringing to market new solutions that fit within the overall portfolio of our services business. Reporting to the Senior Director of Offerings, you'll work collaboratively to define, package, and price innovative high-value solutions, associated marketing programs, and thought leadership content that drive demand through the sales cycle to realized revenue and profitability. This means an end-to-end business approach.
You can grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits for various buyer personas. You’ll work with some of our top experts to turn their knowledge into market-facing value offerings and the content needed to fuel marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for managing the offering catalog, sales enablement collaterals and tracking the success KPIs for each offering.
You are a highly collaborative, low-ego self-starter who is infinitely curious, loves to experiment, isn’t afraid to get creative with ideas to drive and innovate, and can prove ROI based on data.
You’ll spend half your time working internally and half externally—joining customer calls, talking to our partners, and participating in the community. You must be a self-starter. The Offerings team is small, and we expect entrepreneurial thinking with respect for the necessary business processes of a company of our size. What will you be doing?
- Develop, introduce, evaluate, and continuously improve new offerings that leverage the skills of the internal teams, technical accelerators, technology enablers, methodologies, and bundled artificial intelligence service offerings to deliver high-value client outcomes.
- Participate in the ideation process and develop and refine business cases for new portfolio offering opportunities.
- Balance the need for making data-driven recommendations and decisions while knowing when to take a leap of faith.
- Be the expert on your offering(s)—work extensively with sales to help them get in front of customers to socialize new ideas, accelerate the sales cycle for the offerings, and follow up with field sales to get feedback, incorporating that feedback into the continuous offering development process.
- Monitor the ROI and margins associated with the solution offering and work to continually identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and margin growth.
- Develop product positioning, packaging, and messaging that differentiates Pythian’s solutions in the market.
- Define a set of KPIs to measure customer satisfaction, business impact, and delivery efficiency with the ability to analyze and utilize them in decision-making processes.
- Provide content and collaborate with marketing on the development of product descriptions, data sheets, articles, web content, solution videos, and demos.
- Regularly report on the progress status, revenue and success parameters for all service offerings.
- Enable sales by communicating your portfolio's value proposition to the sales team and developing the sales tools and selling process.
- Conduct market/competitive intelligence by providing expertise on buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; provide expertise on competitors and how to crush them.
- Collaborate with marketing on strategies to drive acquisition, lift conversion rates, increase engagement, and grow revenue.
What do we need from you?
- 2+ years of product management and/or product marketing experience in the IT B2B sector, ideally in services companies.
- This role is ideal for Marketing MBA graduates with pre-MBA engineering experience in IT services organizations. This is an excellent entry role for candidates looking to enter the service offering domain.
- Proven written and oral communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
- Skilled at producing content that communicates highly technical information to a range of audiences - from business and IT executives to IT technical professionals.
- Demonstrated business research skills with high comfort in organizing, maintaining, and managing content with attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and practices, such as the 4 Ps of marketing.
- In-depth understanding of the nuances of B2B marketing.
- Ability to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
- Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Our clients are global, so you may need to be flexible and participate in calls outside of regular working hours at times.
