Product Manager

Prague, Czechia
Full-Time

About the job

We are searching for an experienced Product Manager who will run effective projects/products starting from the business requirements gathering, going through creating concept/business analysis to execution with the IT team.

Your main responsibilities

  • You are an expert in collaborating with others, knowing when and how to lead and when to collaborate and follow to achieve common objectives, continuously improving collaboration further. You collaborate across multiple product areas to solve problems that matter and create clarity for audiences by effectively articulating the most important messages in the most appropriate style for your audience. You establish a continuous improvement mindset and culture. You are a company-wide thought leader in your area (e.g. domain, customer proposition, set of customer problems, and their behavior). You coach more junior PMs to excel in product methodologies and product leadership and you may lead 1-2 PMs (if the setting allows).
  • You independently manage stakeholders up to the Executive level (CL8+), involving them strategically to ensure support and establish long-lasting relationships with them based on mutual respect, trust, and benefit.
  •  You engage team members and stakeholders with a compelling product vision and bring all relevant information to the team that is required to understand their impact, importance, and future direction while giving them the stability they need to be productive. You can convince your environment to support and follow your proposition using valid arguments, oriented towards the organization's goal.
  • You are a true thought partner and peer for the corresponding Manager, Engineering, and UX Design counterpart (e.g. for joint prioritization, improving the team's processes).

We are looking for people who

  • Have high-quality communication skills to do the job effectively.
  • Actively participate in product strategy development. Ensure that the team is solving a verified customer problem and drives all 4Ds with minimum guidance. You choose the most appropriate phasing plan or rollout strategy to maximize impact. You separate the problem from the solution space and know when to move from one to the next.
  • Look at the UX from a bird's eye view (optimizing entire processes, not just selected screens, considering specific group needs if necessary). Still, you can conduct very oriented and constructive conversations with UX designers and researchers about the principles of the interface, based on the experience built into delivering products. You can conduct complex A/B testing if needed (requiring different mobile/desktop conclusions or requiring work on cohorts). You know also when A/B testing is necessary, and other methods of gathering insights to bring market value successfully.
  • Are experts in the product domain. You can answer the question "what if we wanted to go in the X direction / add Y functionality" on an ongoing basis (e.g. during meetings with stakeholders). You are up to date on nearby products and other areas' short-term plans.
  • Optimize Product Lifecycle (product development, delivery to market, growth, maturity maintenance, retirement).
