Product Management Manager

We are searching for a Product Manager based in Shanghai, to contribute on driving product strategy for China market and lead on China projects for sales partner and artists.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and understand the business strategy.
  • Possess excellent market knowledge & understanding and be able to react accordingly in line with the business needs and strategy.
  • Work with product team in US and JP to develop and manage product calendar. Communicate with other business teams and partners on regular base to keep everyone up to date.
  • Support the global/regional/China brand marketing strategic direction and contribute a China perspective where applicable.
  • Work with Finance to identify issues within the Profit and Loss that may affect the overall performance and be able to react accordingly within the boundaries of the business strategy.
  • Lead on development of China specific projects with business growth perspective, including but not limited to China only products, Chinese artist signature models, Made in China accessories, etc.
  • Work with E-commerce team and distributor to develop China sales strategy, including but not limited to product assortment, standard retail price, discount strategy.
  • Conduct NPI product knowledge internally and with partners.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, major in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred;
  • Pr5+ years’ experience in related field with a successful and proven track record;
  • Strong understanding of Fender Brand and Guitar community; Playing guitar is must;
  • Ability to present with confidence to Senior Management, staff, media, and consumers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain working relationships.
  • Creative and imaginative approach to business situations.
  • Be able to analyze the market by yourself and build and output subjective strategies.
  • Solve and find the solution with logical thinking.
  • Multi-lingual (English highly desired), comfortable working within an International organization and able to influence for positive outcomes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
