Location: Copenhagen, Denmark or Amsterdam, Netherlands
Are you ready to make a real impact in healthcare? At WARD 24/7, we’re redefining patient monitoring with cutting-edge AI technology. Our mission is simple but bold: improve patient safety and transform how hospitals operate. Our innovative software as a medical device (mobile and web app) detects changes in patients’ vital signs, helping healthcare professionals respond faster to potential deterioration. With European certification secured and US approval on the horizon (expected early 2025), we’re gearing up for explosive growth—and we need you to help make it happen. Experience in the MedTech field is a strong advantage, as our product operates in a highly regulated and mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
This role is paramount for our organization as you will be managing the development and IT operations of our clinical support system that improves monitoring of patients within general wards of hospitals.
You will be the central hub between our users (mainly nurses) at hospitals, their IT-departments, sensor partner companies and our own development, clinical and QA team.
The position is focused on managing the development and operations to run our system successfully at each clients location.
Facilitate Software Development:
- Manage the Scrum process and keep development on track.
- Oversee requirements, risk assessments, and test management.
- Coordinate releases and ensure all documentation is top-notch.
- Ensure compliance with MedTech regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
Manage IT Operations:
- Work with hospital IT departments to set up infrastructure (virtual machines and mobile devices).
- Install and verify the software, ensuring it works flawlessly.
- Provide top-tier user support and resolve bugs.
- Facilitate seamless integration with sensor systems.
- Understand the complexities of deploying software in a hospital environment, where precision and reliability are paramount.
Build for Scale:
- Help us prepare for rapid growth by making our processes leaner and more efficient.
- Lay the groundwork for scaling to hundreds of hospitals across Europe and the US.
Who You Are
You’re not just looking for a job; you’re looking for an opportunity to grow, challenge yourself, and make a difference. You’re a natural problem-solver who’s equally comfortable diving into the technical weeds or explaining complex systems to non-technical users. Experience in MedTech or other regulated industries is highly valued.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 2-5 years of experience in product management, IT operations, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with mobile and web-based applications (bonus if they’re mission-critical systems).
- Hands-on experience with testing, installation, and user support.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Golang, and Flutter.
- Understanding of networking, virtual machines, and mobile app deployment (PlayStore/AppStore).
- Strong communication skills to connect with users, developers, and IT teams.
- Proactive, can-do attitude—you love taking initiative and solving problems on the fly.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in the MedTech field or working with medical devices.
