Scope of Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
Perform engineering design evaluations and develop a range of products.
Recommend alterations to improve product quality and optimize development and design procedures.
Prepare detailed drawings for new and existing product components, including making necessary changes to existing details and assemblies.
Update technical drawings and incorporate requested design modifications.
Collaborate with engineering teams on design changes driven by manufacturing issues or customer requirements.
Set up and operate various machine tools for precise, complex operations.
Analyze drawings, using creativity and imagination to visualize components and determine the best materials for the job.
Develop part dimensions, fits, clearances, contours, and reference points when provided with only rough drawings.
Work with revised production prints in relation to engineering changes.
Coordinate with product engineering, manufacturing, and process teams for optimal designs.
Requirements and Skills:
Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM tools and familiarity with specific customer design software.
Strong technical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Communicative level of English proficiency.
Willingness to learn new concepts and work in a dynamic environment.
Ability to perform occasional manual tasks related to product engineering.
Experience in the automotive or production industry is an advantage.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in designing parts is a plus, particularly in seat design.
