This pivotal leadership role plays a crucial part in the entire development lifecycle of an SSD product. From defining the manufacturing strategy to leading sampling, qualification, and manufacturability to production and shipment, the Technical Product/Program Manager's decisions and actions directly influence the success of our products. They deliver samples to external and internal customers and manage programs/projects to ensure cost-effective and high-quality products are delivered on time, contributing significantly to our company's success.
As a Technical Product/Program Manager, you will not only be at the forefront of defining the manufacturing strategy and posing the right questions but also can grow and develop professionally. Your leadership will be instrumental in program management and the successful delivery of SSD products throughout their life cycle, driving towards Production/Ship release. Your early engagement in the Product Life Cycle (PLC) will be crucial in influencing new product manufacturing strategy, receivables, and deliverables, offering a stimulating and rewarding career path.
- Participates actively in technical and commercial meetings related to the bill of material components and represents the manufacturing team's input for such components.
- This is a Technical Product/Program Manager who is directly responsible for managing programs and projects crucial to developing, implementing, or upgrading technology or products for our external customers. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills.
- Leads moderate and high complexity projects or broad scope and moderate complexity. Plans/manages projects related to policies or general business operations to meet specific objectives or general goals.
- The Technical Product/Program Manager holds significant decision-making authority at the project level. They lead the project team, serving as key interfaces to the project or contributors. They identify and refine project objectives and are responsible for problem-solving and task delegation to ensure the delivery of specific objectives or general goals.
- Develops solutions to problems by exercising judgment and discretion. Interprets and applies controlling business strategies or corporate policies and deviates as judged appropriate. Identifies tasks and research, determines dependencies, assesses costs, identifies and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members.
- Creates/tracks/adjusts the project or program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies issues and solutions to efficiently achieve program goals or project objectives while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitors progress against schedule and determines and takes remedial action as appropriate. Coordinates and prioritizes resource utilization with other functions. Plans and schedules work to ensure the timely completion of intermediate milestones and the overall project or program.
- Influences or sets business unit or cross-organizational strategy. Understands the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined projects, applies the knowledge to deliverables, and leverages it to accelerate project completion.
- Creates and applies concepts for optimizing production relative to quality and cost constraints.
- Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks and develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Solid State Physics, Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering degree with experience in Board Manufacturing
- Minimum 15+ years of experience leading projects with a Manufacturing background. Working-level expertise in this technical and functional area and an understanding of and ability to work through all its requirements.
- It is preferred that this leader exhibits a greater understanding of SSD Manufacturing and/or Module development business.
