Develop new and innovative Fluid Handling Solutions for industrial textile and steel reinforced hoses and assemblies
Coordinate sample and prototype building process, including documentation.
Support the local supplier development process (Product Evaluation).

▪ Support Product Development projects and tasks as team member,
▪ Provide support to other functions & departments as a Product Development team member

▪ Support global standardization and consolidation of product specifications

▪Ensure project plans are defined to reach the Product Development project targets. Regularly review status of projects for timeliness and completion of requirements
▪Assess product requests from PLC with feasibility studies
▪Support of Application Engineering, PPI, Operations and Quality departments to satisfy PLC requirements
▪Work with PPI to ensure a successful product launch and stable production process (low scrap rate, robust product data)
▪Coordinate with controller for cost calculations
▪Provide support to evaluate processability, sample production scrap rate, and sample quality
▪Support of localization activities (materials-R&D and processes-PPI)
▪Define DFMEA and product DVP to meet the project requirement book and develop test plans and procedures
▪Define procedures for requalification plan (audit plan)
▪Work with Technology and Purchasing to define specifications and test procedures for raw material suppliers
▪Assist in the development of new alternative material suppliers
▪Define necessary new test methods to check product quality
▪Organize the prototype testing by labs
▪Evaluate the test results, documentation of test results for discussion with application engineering and/or customer
▪Benchmark testing of competitive product
▪ Inspire people considering Continental's leadership philosophy and OneContiTech

▪Select, manage and develop qualified staff following the relevant HR processes
▪ Develop and implement training and qualification plans to ensure expertise and know-how of staff in the area of testing and measuring
